About Us

Yeffe Christian Ministry is a Christian non-profit organization committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with both believers and non-believers. Our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and purpose by serving vulnerable children, youth, and families through faith based and practical support.

YEFFE emerged a beacon of support for marginalized communities, including street kids, teenage mothers, elderly people, persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), and other vulnerable children.

A team of seven (7) individuals with a shared vision to address the plight of street children, teenage mothers, persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), elderly people, and other vulnerable children in their community. Driven by their Christian faith and a deep-seated desire to make a tangible difference, they founded the Yeffe Christian Ministry. The founders, each with unique backgrounds pooled their expertise to create an organization that would not only provide immediate relief but also long-term solutions for homeless children. Their goal was to reintegrate these vulnerable children into family environments and equip them with the tools needed for a brighter future.

Reflecting on his journey, Jonathan drew inspiration from his own experiences, choosing the name "YEFFE" to symbolize the ministry's mission. The word ‘YEFFE ‘is derived from Luganda, meaning "WE ARE." This reflects our collective commitment to standing together with those we serve, embodying unity, compassion, and community spirit. Just as he emerged from obscurity to significance, YEFFE seeks to uplift those deemed invisible and voiceless, affirming their worth and potential that;

As Yeffe Christian Ministry we bring the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and as a ministry we stand with a verse from Psalm 147:3

Club and Goals

Yeffe Christian Ministry Club

Yeffe Christian Ministry Club was formed as an extension of the ministry to engage children, youth, and community members in meaningful activities that build faith, skills, and responsibility. The club provides a safe space where members can grow spiritually, develop talents, and support one another through mentorship and service.

Our Foundation

Yeffe Christian Ministry was founded in 2024 with a heart to serve the people of Uganda, especially those facing hardship. The ministry was established to restore hope by providing access to education, vocational skills, and life changing opportunities that empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity.
