Jonathan Mukuye
Mukuye Jonathan, founder and director of Yeffe Christian Ministry. Born in Kampala, Uganda, I faced a difficult childhood marked by the death of my father and the struggles of a single mother caring for four children. At a young age, I lived on the streets, where life was harsh and survival was daily.
By God’s mercy, He used my aunt to rescue me, bringing me into a home of love, safety, and guidance. Her care, combined with God’s intervention, transformed my life. Even as I was helped, my heart remained with those still in need, inspiring a vision to serve the vulnerable and bring hope to the forgotten.
From that vision, Yeffe Christian Ministry was born. Today, we reach out to those society often overlooks, testifying that no life is too broken for God’s redemption and love.
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
Sabine Kuhne
Hello, my name is Sabine. By the grace of God, my life has been changed, and my deepest desire is to help make His great love known.
Ever since I came to Uganda for the first time some years ago, I have been captivated by the beauty not only of the country, but mostly of the Ugandan people. I see so much
potential, gifts, and diligence in those I meet here. Most of all, the love of Christ compels me to do my part, which God has entrusted me with, to help and encourage the Ugandan people to arise and shine and become everything the Lord has created them to be. It is my great honour and delight to be part of Yeffe Christian Ministry and to witness the change He brings to many precious people.
